From a young age Writer X faced challenges that tried to break him physically, mentally, and spiritually. Diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at the age of eight his body would be attacked first. As he fought against the hurdles his own body was throwing at him, he also had to deal with the growing anger of his father. His mother decided that she no longer would put up with the abuse she was going through once the abuse started to take aim at Writer X. His mother and him moved away to another state wanting to start fresh and escape the mental and physical abuse but life was not done with him yet. Writer X was then attacked spiritually.
Throughout his life he has faced many obstacles but he is still pushing forward. He is now using his life experiences as a way to help others who have gone through, is currently going through, and will go through hard times. His autobiography Broken Pieces will help many people overcome their own challenges.
