“PSYCHO” Hits The Streets

PSYCHO” is a dark, trap-heavy collaboration between Erick The Architect (exclusive producer for Flatbush Zombies) and electronic powerhouse Alison Wonderland. Producers QUIX and MEMBA also help create the electric sound that fans will be dancing their hearts out to.

This will be the second time Alison Wonderland has worked with Erick The Architect. The first time they collaborated was in 2023 on “SCREAM” from ‘GENESIS’, which they brought to life during Whyte Fang’s Coachella debut — one of the festival’s most talked-about crossover moments.

Their creative partnership is rooted in a long-standing friendship and mutual respect.

“PSYCHO” marks the fourth single and one of the heaviest drops from Alison’s upcoming album ‘GHOST WORLD’ (out October 3, 2025).

Alison Wonderland’s A Triple-Threat

When it comes to making music, Alison Wonderland has always worn her heart on her sleeve. Her songwriting – visceral and raw – takes lines that feel like entries from her own diary and twists the familiar burns of heartache and hurt into empowering mantras for festival crowds around the world to sing along to.

Alison Wonderland has had a passion for music ever since she was young. She learned what was needed to pursue a career in music while in the Sydney Youth Orchestra. Alison performed as a cellist by day, while moonlighting as a bass guitarist in local bands by night. Making her way around Sydney’s nightlife circuit, she was eventually introduced to DJing and learned the magic of producing and making her own music.

Her production is as explosive as it is delicate, channeling intricate, uncompromising beat work and blending in the unexpected, like cello breakdowns, amongst swinging trap, bass beats, and dynamic, futuristic soundscapes. Alison Wonderland is unapologetically herself and has shattered the status quo with her fearless approach to redefining what experimental pop electronic music can and should be.

Alison Wonderland the project debuted in 2009 and her ascent since has been uncontainable, rising as a beacon of Australia’s vibrant electronic music scene. She first garnered international recognition for her creative and genre-defying DJing while also carving out her role as a household name producer, starting with remixes for the likes of Justin Bieber.

Soon after, her talents as a triple-threat producer, singer, and songwriter took center stage when she debuted with her album Run. Her debut album was her first albulm to hit No. 1 at the top of Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and was also nominated at the ARIA Awards. She then arrived in the US with a bang for her first performance stateside, landing on the stages of the hallowed Coachella.

Cementing her place as a champion of Australia’s explosive pool of electronic talent and as a beloved headliner on festival billings was just the beginning. Alison Wonderland has also been recognized as Billboard’s Breakout Artist of the Year, the Electronic Music Awards’ Best New Artist, and received multiple nominations for her records at the ARIA Awards. Named by Billboard as a “prodigious creative” and described by The Fader as “unexpected and amazing,” it’s clear that Alison Wonderland has created something special.

Her chart-topping singles like the double-platinum “I Want U” and “Church,” along with high-profile collaborations with artists like Trippie Redd and her celebrated Dua Lipa remix, have cemented her status as a genre-defying powerhouse. Alison further expanded her repertoire with the 2022 LP ‘Loner’ exploring vulnerable topics on ‘Something Real’ & ‘Down The Line’ while still dropping signature tracks ‘Bad Things’ and ‘Fuck You Love You’. Named Electronic Artist of the Year by Forbes in 2022, and Top 5 Australian Electronic Artist of All-Time in Rolling Stone (July 2025). Alison Wonderland continues to push boundaries and share her message of hope and healing through both her music and expansive creative ventures.

Alison Wonderland has established herself as one of electronic music’s most influential and innovative figures. With over 1.1 billion global streams, multiple platinum certifications, and more than 800,000 headline ticket sales across her U.S. tours alone, Wonderland has transformed from a Sydney club scene fixture to a global festival headliner.

Yara Shahidi and Alton Mason Hit The Gym

Yara Shahidi Day Off television show poster/ credit- Facebook Watch/ Yara Shahidi’s Day Off

Yara Shahidi is back again with another episode of Yara Shahidi’s Day Off. This week’s episode features model/actor Alton Mason. Alton is the first Black male model to walk for Chanel. Yara and Alton hit the gymnastics mat while going into meaningful conversation. They discuss Alton’s career as a model, actor, his family, his desire to advance Africa, and the responsibility he has to represent other black people.

Episode Breakdown (Spoiler Alert)

They begin the episode with stretching. Since Alton Mason had a ten-year stint in the gymnastic world, he understands the importance of stretching. Alton invites a gymnastic trainer, Olivia, to teach them some moves. Hitting the balance beam and trampoline tested their abilities. After, Yara asked Alton to track her how to attack the runway. Yara was a good student but I’m sure she won’t be switching careers anytime soon.

With training over, Alton and Yara sat down for a deeper conversation. Alton opened up about his childhood and how traveling with his dad exposed him to different fashion, music, food, and culture. This exposure prepared Alton for his groundbreaking modeling career. He learned his body in and out, learning how to move with purpose.

“I think it definitely made me aware of my body, my movement…”

Alton Mason (Yara Shahidi’s Day Off)

This was a perfect transition into Alton’s acting career. Alton played Little Richard in the new Elvis movie released 2022.

“It’s so electrifying. It’s overwhelming. It’s transformative.”

Alton Mason (Yara Shahidi’s Day Off)

Alton did a great job impersonating the legend. Understanding Little Richard’s greatness was the first step for Alton. You can tell Alton did his research and it shows on scree.

A Deeper Connection

Yara Shahidi has an ability to dive deep into the mind of her interviewee organically. Yara asked Alton what his most random goal or aspiration was. Without much hesitation, Alton brought up wanting to advance Africa. This is a big goal for Alton but it is not impossible because he feels that is his one of his purposes on this Earth.

The last topic discussed was representing Black people in primarily white spaces. It can be a tough area to be in but it is important for someone to till the ground for those coming behind him.

“I navigate through it with grace.”

Alton Mason (Yara Shahidi’s Day Off)

Alton is navigating these spaces with a great perspective. He understands what his people has gone through to get him to where he is now. If his ancestors could deal with that, then he can’t complain about what he must endure to exist in these white spaces.

Don’t miss this episode titled Trampolines and Balance Beams with Alton Mason. Remember the show can be found on Facebook Watch. Catch all-new episodes of Yara Shahidi’s Day Off streaming every Thursday.
