Writer X was born on March 17, 1993 in Houston, Texas as Xavier Griffin. Some say he was born with a bit of luck. He found a love for telling stories at a young age by writing songs and his music became his gateway drug. His love for music grew into him becoming interested in writing poetry, short stories, and screenplays. Writer X was first published in his high school Gazette at the age of 16. His imagination is endless, creating works that are new and refreshing.

Writer X has received his Associates Degree at Oklahoma City Community College and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing and English with a concentration in Poetry from Southern New Hampshire University. Writer X is currently working on a poetry collection, epic, autobiography and screenplay.

Writer X had the opportunity to be a web assistant and social media manager for a online shoe boutique. This help jump-start his writing career. After, he went on to be a writer at Suavv Magazine. At Suavv he got a chance to interview high level celebrities and create articles from these interactions. Writer X learned valuable skills that he took to his next job at FmHipHop. Here he revitalized his love for writing and established connections with artist, publicist, other writers, editor’s, and upcoming moguls he will use as his writing career continues.
